YOU are becoming such an independent little girl. You have started to hold your bottle all by yourself and are sleeping through the night. Thank goodness.
You started school on January 4th at The Goddard School with your big brother. You are in the classroom next to his and the teachers say you have playtime together in the afternoons. Colton gets extremely excited to see you and runs to give you a hug.
We're still working on your walking. You are doing so well, but you still feel like you need to hold Mommy or Daddy's hand to walk. That's OK, we'll go at your pace. We know you'll walk when you're ready.
We had such a fun time celebrating Christmas for the very first time with you. Mommy and Daddy set up all your toys in the living room, so when both you and Colton woke up Christmas morning you could see what Santa proud you without having to do the work of opening any gifts. We had so much fun playing with all your new toys and spending time with all our family on Christmas.
You started Tumble Bee's gymnastics for the first time. Every Saturday all four of us go to gymnastics where both you and Colt are in the same class and just love climbing and running (or crawling) around everything and learning new things.
You are enjoying every second of life with a big brother and we can only hope that your best friendship grows as the two of you do. Mommy and Daddy love to see the two of you together.
Bath time is especially fun. Both of you love bath time. You have also adopted a ritual that Colt likes to do when Mommy takes him out of the bath tub. You caught on to him jumping on Mommy's legs and yelling loudly and laughing while jumping, so you recently started to do the same thing all on your own. You are so smart and catch on to new things very quickly. You love to learn just like your big brother.
We love you so much and are already planning your first birthday party in just a few weeks.
