Country Road: hayden rae: 10 months old

Dear Hayden Rae,

You just started crawling, and then all of a sudden, we turn around and you taught yourself how to walk while pushing a toy. One night I turned around and Daddy was walking in the door from work at the same time and we both saw you take your first steps pushing a toy. You are too cute.

We also celebrated Thanksgiving with lots of our family and took a day trip with Jibby to a farm for Christmas.

Jibby took Colton, you and Mommy to Applewood Farms where we saw lots of christmas trees and decorations and rode on a cha-cha train. We all had so much fun. Thanks Jibby!

You started to hold your own bottle which has been amazing and life-changing for Mommy and Daddy! You're growing up so fast and we can tell you just want to be able to walk and run around with your big brother and do all the things he is doing. You will be soon enough baby girl!

You're also saying short words like "Da-Da" and "Uh-Oh." It's adorable to hear you start to say your first words. I haven't heard "Ma-Ma" yet though. We started to give you yogurt, which you love, and continuing with baby food. You're not much interested in eating the baby food but you're getting better every day.

So much happened...your little cousin Luke was born, we bought a new minivan so you and Colton are comfortable now and in the years to come in the car, and we went and had our picture taken with Santa Claus. Colton didn't want to sit by himself with Santa so we all sat with him.

Mommy and Daddy also took you and Colton to the local fire station in Jarrettsville where we had pizza and lunch with Santa. We can't wait to celebrate your first Christmas with you.
