11 months old

11 months old and you're growing so fast! mommy is 8 months pregnant and you are keeping me on my toes (and out of breath) daily. each month you've been conquering a new milestone…and this month was no different. you are now walking while pushing your walking toys. And you absolutely LOVE it! It seems like you started crawling, then days later you were pulling yourself up to stand, and now you're walking by pushing your toys. Mommy and Daddy are so proud of you buddy!!

And we can't believe that in just one month you will be 1 year old! this year has gone by so quickly!

Mommy had a bit of a scare with her pregnancy and had to go to the hospital the other day. the doctors said it was time for me to 'settle down' on my daily activities, so daddy and i made the decision to enroll you in daycare a few times a week. this will give you some much-needed time outside of the house that mommy hasn't been able to give you in this latter months of pregnancy, along with some socialization with some other kiddos, and it will give Mommy some time to rest so your little sister stays healthy and happy inside Mommy's belly for at least another month or so…two months would be ideal! fingers crossed.

you had such a wonderful first christmas. mommy dressed you up like a cute little elf, and i may have bought myself the same matching outfit. yes, i was a pregnant elf! :) you received so many wonderful gifts from your grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins. you are one lucky little boy!

for new year's we celebrated at home with a nice dinner and a family selfie to commemorate the end of a very memorable year with you. here are some photos from this month. we love you so much buddy and can't wait to see how you're going to be an amazing big brother very soon!
