7 months old

Dear Colton,

This month has been one of the happiest for Mommy and Daddy. This month you started reaching for things and started to really engage in playing with your toys. You love to play in your exersaucer that cousin Caroline let you borrow for a few months, and while you're playing you love to talk, talk, talk.

You love to eat oatmeal in your big boy high chair. But the oatmeal cereal has to be flavored either with sweet potatoes or bananas and apples because the plain stuff just doesn't cut it for you. You make it a point to let me know that you don't like plain oatmeal by gagging and spitting it out. It didn't take me long to figure out you didn't like it…at all!

This month we also visited Dr. Mike and some of the nurses in the NICU. They were so, so happy to see you. You laughed and flirted with all the nurses and they took lots of pictures of you to share with all the other nurses you cared for you while you were there in February. You also got your very first haircut this month. You lost all of the hair you were born with except  a little bit on the top of your head so you had a cute mohawk for awhile. Then that mohawk became a combover so we had to get rid of that. Of course you are so handsome no matter what your hair looks like!

You are happy as can be and have been loving to take walks in your stroller and playing with Youkilis. Here are some of the pictures we took this month!

We love you so much buddy!!!
