Well it didn't come as much of a surprise to Drew and I that we are having a BABY BOY!!! It was actually pretty funny during our 20-week ultrasound. We were in the middle of the 'scan' and the sonographer was taking measurements of the baby, etc. and got to his legs and we suddenly saw exactly what we were having without any explanation from the expert who actually knows what they are looking at when conducting these scans. His little penis was in full view and Drew and I just giggled as the sonographer said, "Well I was going to save the determination of the sex for later ... but he obviously isn't shy and wanted you to know now."
Our little man is growing strong in there and we couldn't be happier. We shared the fun news the following day with our family by bringing in a licensed sonographer to come to the party and reveal the gender to everyone via a sonogram. We thought this would be a fun surprise for everyone ... and it was an even bigger surprise for our parents and Nan because little did we know that they had never seen a sonogram before! Everyone guessed whether they thought Baby Robinson was a boy or a girl before the 'reveal.' It was a pretty even split.
Definitely a day we'll always remember.
